Description: The first-ever charity promotional film ever produced! In transferring it to video, a specially commissioned piano soundtrack has been added to give it the feel of an old silent film that would have had live accompaniment in the cinema when it was shown.

The film was made to celebrate the RNLI's centenary in 1924.
