Then get a chepo video camera and point it at the same wall - in roughly the same place.

Put the film in the projector and run it, starting the video camera soon afterwards. At some stage remember to close the bedroom curtains so not too much light comes through. Also, at some stage, get the projector picture roughly in focus.

Alternatively, bring or post your old cine to The Video Factory. We have been told by those who had some done elsewhere that we give incomparable results.

But remember two golden rules:

1. Don't throw any old cine away just because you can't make out what's on the film - our cameras are so sensitive they can often bring out the picture you can't see by eye.

2. Decide on the order of the reels before giving them to us.
